Change Your Habits (Part 2)
Previously we set the bar with 4 “Rut Buster Habits” that will get us off the rocking horse and catapult us into God’s plan (Scriptures, Praying, Giving, and Serving). Let’s focus on a life plan to activate those habits that will pole vault us into a new powerful life filled with purpose and direction. A pole vaulter must do 4 things to get over the bar; 1) Set his mind: Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. Colossians 3:2 2) Strain forward: So take a new grip with your tired hands, stand firm on your shaky legs, 13 and mark out a straight, smooth path for your feet. Hebrews 12:12 3) Sprint ahead: forget what is behind, run toward the goal. 1 Corinthians 9:12, and have a Strong finish: Well done, good and faithful servant! Matthew 25:1 The other side of the bar is the victory we all have in Christ. So grab your pole, set your mind, strain forward, sprint ahead, and finish strong as you
