A Year of Significance
I recently witnessed a sunrise while flying above storm clouds hovering the land below. I realized then that God had bigger plans for me that were above the circumstances of life. With the New Year here most of us desire to make this a significant year. The best way we can do that is to be drawn, driven, directed, and dedicated to the path that is laid out for us. “Along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.” Isaiah 42:16.. I must be drawn; “Draw near to God and He will draw near to me” James 4:8, driven; 16 We never give up. Our bodies are gradually dying, but we ourselves are being made stronger each day.” 2 Corinthians 4:16, directed; “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path” Psalm 119:105, and dedicated; “And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.” Colossians 3:17. Let’s make this a year of significance and accomplish great things. “The Lord will work out his plans for my life—for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever.” Psalm 138:8
